MCAD is about to embark on its next stage of development, with refreshed vision and values, and an exciting new Business Plan. The Development Officer will play a vital role in helping us to deliver our strategic objectives, and fulfil our mission to be Manchester’s space for craft, community and making.
The post-holder will be responsible for producing and implementing a credible revenue fundraising plan with ambitious but realistic targets, with an emphasis on increasing income from trusts, foundations and individual supporters. You’ll take the lead on building relationships with funders and donors to support engagement with MCAD’s work and future plans including capital improvements. Working closely with the Director, you will generate revenue and project income to help increase long-term resilience in line with our Business Plan.
We are looking for candidates with fundraising experience, including trusts and foundations, individual donors and business supporters. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and project management skills, a resourceful and entrepreneurial approach, and an interest in the arts / cultural sector.
